ACTIVE PARENTING NOW (for parents of children ages 5-12) helps parents learn to raise responsible, cooperative children who are prepared to meet the challenges of the teen years.Parents will develop skills that will help them cultivate cooperation, responsibility and self-esteem in their children. They’ll also learn positive, non-violent discipline techniques so they can avoid power struggles.
ACTIVE PARENTING OF TEENS (for parents of children ages 12-18) helps parents meet the challenges of parenting teens and preteens in today’s turbulent society. Parents will develop the skills they need to communicate effectively with their teens, encourage better behavior, use positive discipline techniques and teach responsibility.
Each session also helps parents learn how to address sensitive issues that are vital to today’s teens, such asdrug & alcohol use.sexuality andviolence.
PRICING:
OPTION # 1: $70/PERSON FOR SIX TWO-HOUR SESSIONS
All participants receive a Parent Handbook during the initial session and a Certificate of Completion after completing all six workshop sessions.
